Roberts McQuail and Wilkins join forces at PA1st Settlement Services

Stroudsburg - Craig Roberts, former owner of Fidelity Home Abstract, Inc. a 20+ year old title and settlement Company and founder of Agents and Brokers Service Corp., one of the first AFBA's, has joined Pennsylvania First Settlement Services as President of the Corporation. Roberts brings 30 years real estate and title experience to PA1st. Said Thomas R. Wilkins, General Partners, "I've worked with Craig for a number of years and the innovative ideas that he has for a company and our ability to execute on those ideas makes this a very strong team that's going to be hard to beat."

Roberts began his career as a real estate agent with his father Ray Roberts, owner of Country Cousins Real Estate, one of the first real Broker companies in the Poc Mtns. He purchased Fidelity Home Abstract in 1990 and grew the company to over 15 employees and grossing over $2.1 million in sales. Agents and Brokers, an idea of Roberts, was one of the first agent-owned title companies in the Poc Mtns.

The addition of Roberts to the PA1st staff means an expanded service model to the existing customers of PA1st including their growing list of Realtor friends with whom they do business. Pennsylvania First Settlement Services has been in business since 2001 and was originally started by Wilkins who will remain General Partner. Sandra M. McQuail, Exec VP, will assist Roberts in his move into the company and, while still being responsible for her day to day responsibilities, will assist in bring in new business as well as the new programs that they intend to launch. "After only having lunch with Craig, it was very easy to see his vision and the want to grow the business into a regional company which has always been my goal as well." stated McQuail.
