Mooney appointed as Ambassador for Eastern PA Artiritis Foundation of 11 Legislative Dtion istrict

Stroudsburg - During the February Board of Directors meeting of the Arthritis Foundation, Dennis Mooney was appointed as the Ambassador for the 11th Legislative District. Mooney, who has been a Board of Director with the Arthritis Foundation for a number of years, was pleased with the appointment. An Arthritis Ambassador represents his or her Congressional District as a special envoy for the Arthritis Foundation.

Mooney will educate community leaders and elected officials about the impact of arthritis and participate in awareness--raising events and opportunities. The 11th Legislative District falls under the jurisdiction of Congressman Lou Barletta from Hazleton.


Mooney, a Vice President and Sales Manager for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates, also was made a Board member of Habitat for Humanity--Pocono District last year. In addition to his role as an ambassador for the Arthritis Foundation, Mooney is an active Board of Director member of the Pocono Mountains Association of REALTORS.
