R. Wilkins, CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins &
Associates announced the promoting of Lynn W. Wilklow, AB from the position of
Sales Manager to Vice President/Company Recruiter and General Manager of the
Wilkins’ Bushkill office.
Said Wilkins, “Lynn has been with the Wilkins organization
since the old Dingmans Ferry days over 12 years ago.” “She actually started her real estate career
with us as a Salesperson in the Route 739 office. If I recall she was Rookie of the Year.” chuckled Wilkins.
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins &
Associates at the height of the market had 14 offices throughout the Poconos
including a Route 739 Wilkins & Associates office in Dingmans Ferry. The Dingmans Ferry office was Wilkins’ first
entry into the Pike County real estate market.
The Agents who opened the office dubbed the “original 5” and under the
leadership of Christine A. Wilkins, three of the original 5 remain with the
company which includes Wilklow.
Wilklow, who started as her career with the Wilkins
organization, worked her way through the company. Wilklow was awarded Rookie of the Year, won numerous awards as a Salesperson, took the
required courses, passed the State exam and become an Associate Broker with
Wilkins. Wilklow then moved into the Management
sector assisting BHG in re-entering the Pike county market place by opening the
current office located at the Historic Upper Mill in Milford, PA.
A year ago, Wilklow accepted the position of Sales Manager
for the Bushkill office. Since that
time, she has grown the Sales division by recruiting agents for the office,
assisted in developing the online marketing which is still being used
extensively today. This promotion has
deemed Wilklow qualified to act as a Recruiter for the entire company.
Wilklow received the title Vice President/Company Recruiter
and remains General Manager of the Bushkill office. Wilklow will answer to Christine A. Wilkins,
Executive V.P./General Manager.
Said Christine A. Wilkins, “Lynn is a team player, through
and through. I’ve never seen her say
‘no’ to helping any of her agents further their career by assisting them one on
one, through webinars, individual office meetings and simply being there when
the Agent need her.”
Said Wilklow, “I’m ecstatic over the promotion. As our Mission Statement says, ‘We love what
we do and we do what we love’. I enjoy
seeing the smile on an agent’s face after their first sale or rental just as
much as I enjoy seeing my seasoned agent close that one transaction we simply
thought was never going to make it to the closing table.” Wilklow further stated.
“I have certain personal goals that I am looking to meet and
exceed, and I think that this promotion is going to give me the push that I’m
looking for to drive myself over and above my own expectations with the
company.”
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins &
Associates have four offices and are currently pursuing a location in the Lake
Harmony area. Their staff includes 80
plus Realtors and is hoping, by year end, to achieve their goal of 90 fulltime
Realtors. During 2016, assuming the
market continues in the way its going, the BHG sales force should increase to a
minimum of 120 Realtors.
The new addition of the Pocono Latino Real Estate Group
opens the door for the company to be a part of the Hispanic market and assist
bi-lingual families to move into the Lehigh Valley, Poconos,
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Monroe and Pike county areas. More about the Pocono Latino Real Estate
Group is expected to be released next month.
