Stroudsburg -
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates announced the
hiring of three fulltime Realtors. Hired
were Abbigail Johnson, Kim R. Spencer, and LeAndra Coe. All three have taken the required courses and
passed the State examinations and have received confirmation from the State
that they are licensed to sell real estate.
Johnson, was recruited by Dennis Mooney and is originally from
New Jersey, has lived in the Poconos for the past 3 years, graduated from the
Real Estate Academy in September and will be a fulltime Realtor. Johnson, prior to joining Better Homes and
Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates, owned a hair salon in New
Jersey. Johnson’s past employment also
included being a Sales Associate in the home health aide business. Johnson will work from the BHG Business
Campus.
Spencer, recruited by Lynn Wilklow, V.P./Assoc Broker, has
lived in the Poconos for the past 13 years and was originally from Brooklyn,
New York. Spencer is a 2015 graduate of
the Real Estate school in Bethlehem.
Spencer has a BA Degree in English Liberal Arts, Masters Degree in
Elementary Education, School Building Leader Certification, was a teacher,
staff developer and Assistant Principal the New York City public school
system. Spencer will work out of the BHG
Business Campus.
Said Mooney, Sr. V.P./Associate Broker, “We definitely like
to hire people that come from an Education background. Actually, that’s my original field of
study. Educators typically have good
time-management skills and that’s something that’s necessary in the real estate
field in order to make the big money of a high-producer.”
Said Thomas R. Wilkins, CEO. “The draw for people to join
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates is quite
simple—it’s our award-winning training.
It’s free and it’s all about doing business online and in print. The Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Greenhouse
is head and shoulders above any of our competitors’ start-up programs and we’re
one of the last traditional Brokers left in the Poconos, meaning, our goal is
not to collect dues, be a100% office, our success comes from selling houses, partnering
with Realtors and splitting the commission when the sale occurs. It’s as simple as that.”
Coe is the third
Recruit to join our company and will work from the Milford Office. Coe was recruited by William Schutte, V.P. of
the Milford office. Coe has lived in the
Poconos for the past 5 years and resides in Milford. Coe took classes online from the real estate Career Webschool in September of 2015
and passed her State exam on the first try.
Coe’s past experience work experience included being an Entertainment
Performer at Walt Disney World, an Interior Design Consultant and Fitness
Instructor.
Said Schutte, “LeAndra’s going to become a great agent. Having the learning skills that she possesses
from working at Disney gives her the potential to be a cut above other agents
in customer service and understanding the process of buying, listing or renting
a home.”
Coe attended the Career
Night hosted by Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins &
Associates in October. With a full house
of over 44 potential agents in the crowd, and as Mr. Wilkins’ personal guest,
Coe signed her Broker/Salesperson Agreement right there on the spot to a
standing ovation from everyone in the room.
It was a dynamic event for Mr. Wilkins and LeAndra.
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins &
Associates are actively recruiting for all of their offices, including their
newest which will be in the Lake Harmony area.
The market remains strong and it is believed that 2016 will be stronger
than 2015.
All offices are open 7 days a week and for more information
on how you can obtain a real estate license, please call any of the three
Company Recruiters. Dennis Mooney for
