Sanderson Realtor with Better Homes and Gardens elected Pres of PMAR


Stroudsburg – In the October general election, Lisa Sanderson, REALTOR® with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates was elected as Pres for the Poc Mtns Assoc of REALTORS®. Sanderson begins her 1-year term on January 1, 2010.

Sanderson will be inaugurated at the 2010 Past President/Officers Installation Dinner scheduled for December 10th at the Pocono Manor.

Sanderson currently serves on the Board of Directors in the capacity of Secretary. She is an RPAC Trustee (2008-2010), member of the Government Affairs, MLS Committee and the Public Relations Committee. She chaired the MLS Committee from 2005 to 2007.

Sanderson is known well in the real estate industry because of her social networking. Said Thomas R. Wilkins, CEO “Lisa is a driving force in the new wave of real estate which includes participating daily in the social networking including blogs, Facebook, Twitter and the other more popular blogging sites.” Sanderson has attended numerous conferences and group meetings of professional bloggers in New York City and Philadelphia. Sanderson is the creator and lead author of the Pocono’s Real Estate blog and is a contributing writer at Agent Genius Magazine, a national real estate opinion column. “I like training and coaching my peers on using social media in their business and volunteer activities.” said Sanderson.

The Wilkins organization became the first Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate franchise member primarily because of their internet platform and knowledge of online marketing, blogging and of course, social networking.

Sanderson began her real estate career in 1987 and received her Pennsylvania real estate salespersons license in 1992. Prior to joining Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Sanderson was a top producer at Bob Hay.com.

In addition to her full-time real estate career at Better Homes and Gardens, she serves as President of the Penn Estates Property Owners Association and previously held the position of Vice President and Board Secretary.

Sanderson resides in Penn Estates with her two daughters.
