4 from Better Homes and Gardens Wilkins & Assocs Recieve ABR Designation


Stroudsburg, Pa. Sonia Kern, John W. Martin, David Wells & James J. Martin successfully completed the Accredited Buyers Representative Course at the Pocono Real Estate Academy to earn their ABR Designation.

All 4 have successfully met the Pennsylvania state requirements for the Accredited Buyers Representation designation. The requirements are a 2 day ABR course, one elective course, passing grade on a written examination of legal and practical aspects of agency representation. In addition they each have 5 documented & verifiable buyer representative transactions and are members of good standing with REBAC and the National Association of Realtors.

According to Realtor.org, The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (”REBAC”) of the National Association of REALTORS® who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria. “Obtaining the ABR designation is quite an achievement.
