Stroudsburg –
Thomas R. Wilkins, CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Wilkins & Associates, is
pleased to announce the hiring of three new full-time Realtors – Connie Davis,
Mae Frances McKay and Jeannette Mendoza. All three new hires will work from the
Stroudsburg BHG Business Campus located on Route 209 in Stroudsburg.
Davis has been a Pocono resident for nearly six years and
resides in Bushkill. Prior to joining the team at Wilkins & Associates, she
worked for Verizon Communications for seven years. Davis worked in property management for 12
years and at Edelman Public Relations for five years. “I really began in the
real estate field at 21 while working for HUD,” said Davis. “I plan to finish
my real estate career in the Poconos miles away from where it all began at 26
Federal Plaza.” Davis chuckled.
McKay resides in Shawnee
on Delaware ,
and is a retired sergeant for New York State Corrections. She is a member FOP, NAACP, and Women in Law
Enforcement. “Mae is also a retired Board of Directors member of the Retired
Corrections Officers. We are in the
process of giving a presentation to them to handle primary and vacation homes
for the corrections officers. Very exciting!” said Wilkins. “There are about
15,000 members. We’re really excited to explain about the various discounts
they can take advantage of.”
Mendoza, originally from Brooklyn, now resides in
Kunkletown, where she has been a resident for 16 years. Mendoza, a 2015 graduate of the Weichert Real
Estate School, is a member of The Pocono
Latino Real Estate Team. “Jeannette is one of the three members we have on The Pocono Latino Real Estate Team. The
team, as it develops, is going to be partnering with another BHG office in
Bethlehem and is also recruiting bilingual agents,” said Dennis Mooney, Vice
President, Company Recruiter. “In conjunction with that, we are participating
members of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate professionals
(NAHREP) and the BHG corporate office is very involved with the NAHREP on a
national level. Talk about covering our
bases!”
Davis and McKay were both recruited by fellow real estate
agent, Abbigail Johnson, Realtor. Mendoza
was recruited by Mooney. At Wilkins
& Associates, all agents who recruit other agents get paid a bonus of $100
per transaction for the life of the person they recruited.
